Rules for enjoying the Daffodils

  • The daffodil season runs during the months of April and May. They are closed for the rest of the year.
  • During the season, the daffodils are open from sunrise to sunset.
  • Please do not pick the flowers.
  • No household pets are allowed, even if they are on leashes.
  • Small strollers are allowed.
  • Please do not hold a picnic in the daffodils and do not bring in portable furniture.
  • You are welcome to take your non-commercial personal photographs, but please do not bring in extra photographic props or equipment other than cameras and tripods. This is not meant to be a substitute for a photo studio.
  • The driveway across from the daffodils is private property. Please do not park there, block the driveway or walk up it. Please respect the privacy of the people who live there.
  • Please do not park in the dirt/grass roads in the daffodils.
  • Please park on the road in such a way as not to block traffic on Wigwam Road.
  • Please be respectful of the monument and please discourage your children from climbing on it.
  • Please respect the No Trespassing signs on the adjacent property that borders the daffodils.
  • The wire fence that encloses the pasture is frequently electrified. Please refrain from touching it.
  • Please respect the peace of the area.
  • The daffodils are on private property. Permission to visit the daffodils is a privilege and not a right, and that permission may be revoked for not respecting the rules.
